Announcing our new look!

Wilderness Way is currently re-painting the street-side of our building and we will keep you updated on line of our progress. The new store back will have a large mural of an outdoor scene with trees and plantings in front. We believe this new look will not only help improve the appearance of the building, but will greatly add to the look and feel of downtown Soldotna. This effort underscores Wilderness Way's commitment to preserving the environment and adding to the value and livability of our community.

Back-packing kid carry pack We carry a wide variety of basic outdoor gear that will be useful to you on a hike, including quality footwear and socks, packs, outdoor clothing, bear defense equipment, and other gear. We also carry specialty hiking equipment such as Leki hiking poles, walking sticks, lightweight hiking pants and shorts, etc. We have compasses and GPS systems, emergency locator beacons, binoculars and other optics. And we also have a wide variety of local topographic and trail maps to help you plan next week's hike or just set out into unknown territory!

If you need it to go hiking, we probably have it! If we don't have it, we can get it for you!
