Announcing our new look!

Wilderness Way is currently re-painting the street-side of our building and we will keep you updated on line of our progress. The new store back will have a large mural of an outdoor scene with trees and plantings in front. We believe this new look will not only help improve the appearance of the building, but will greatly add to the look and feel of downtown Soldotna. This effort underscores Wilderness Way's commitment to preserving the environment and adding to the value and livability of our community.

We have water filtration systems from Katadyne and MSR, as well as two kinds of disinfecting tablets. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages, but you should have at least one system for any back-country hike or camping trip. Which is best for your needs? Come on in and see the advantages of each system before your next back-county trip. One of these systems is a must if you are planning to hike further than you can carry water for, and the experts at Wilderness Way can show you the advantages of each system so you can decide for yourself which is best for your particular needs. We also carry a wide range of Nalgene and Kleen Kanteen bottles to carry that water once you have it filtered!
