Announcing our new look!
Wilderness Way is currently re-painting the street-side of our building and we will keep you updated on line of our progress. The new store back will have a large mural of an outdoor scene with trees and plantings in front. We believe this new look will not only help improve the appearance of the building, but will greatly add to the look and feel of downtown Soldotna. This effort underscores Wilderness Way's commitment to preserving the environment and adding to the value and livability of our community.

First Aid
Wilderness Way has the answer to your first-aid kit problems. We have commerically prepared kits if you really don't have the time to put a custom kit together. These kits work well as a starting point for your own custom kit. But we also have first-aid and survival supplies to help you customize your first aid kit to really meet your needs and your level of training. Come on in and let our Alaskan survival experts help you find what you need to make that next outdoor trip as safe as possible! |

Part of every wilderness trip should be a first aid kit - You never know when you may need it. But commercially prepared first aid kits seldom meet your needs. The ones that have everything you really need also have a lot of extra stuff you don't want to pack around. Also, you often really need several different first aid kits: a full-sized kit for your car, a medium sized one for those extended hunts or fishing trips, and a small kit for a day hike, lightweight pack trip or over-nighter.
